Signs and Symptoms of Dengue
Symptoms of this fever usually begin after the fourth day of infection and it can be diagnosed by sudden high fever, the patient can feel a severe headache, pain in joints and muscles, fatigue and skin rashes which are also called dengue rashes. Usually, victims of dengue fever don’t take it seriously they just believe that they have some flu or other viral infection and they don’t go to the doctor for the proper diagnose of the disease.
Diagnosing Dengue Fever
It is difficult to diagnose dengue fever at home depending on the symptoms. It is very important to have a proper check-up by experienced doctors who can diagnose the dengue infection by a blood test for dengue viruses. If you came back to home after traveling a tropical area and feeling fever or fatigue, you should consult the doctor as soon as possible.
Preventing Dengue Fever
It is very important to adopt the proper prevention method to get affected by the dengue fever instead of looking for the treatment after you get infected. There is no special vaccine to prevent the dengue fever, you can just keep yourself safe from mosquitoes bites especially mosquitoes which are infected. Obviously, you can’t check which mosquito is infected and which is not so the only way is to try yourself to make your environment clean and don’t allow water storage around you because dengue fever survives in clean water. You can use insect killer or mosquito trap in your rooms to keep your atmosphere clean from any types of insects including mosquito.
